Our sincere thanks must go to Mike Edmunds who has edited Spotlight for the past four years, but who has now decided to retire from the role. Mike has raised the standard of Spotlight and put in many interesting articles, both entertaining us and making us think. He has reported on everything that happens in the village and has included many more photographs making each edition more interesting. Thank you very much, Mike, for all your efforts over the last four years.
We must also thank Michael Lench, who has been the Advertising Manager for Spotlight for many years and who has also decided that now is the time to give up the role. It is thanks to Michael that we have so many adverts and we must never forget that it is thanks to the advertisers that Spotlight is distributed free to the village. Thank you very much, Michael.
Spotlight will for the immediate future be put together by a ‘team’ of editors, but, of course, it would be better to have one person in charge, but if you feel that you could be part of the team editing just a few issues each year that could be accommodated.
