We are delighted to confirm the dates and artists for this year’s Festival. Make a note in your diaries for 4 unmissable evenings in September.
Friday 22nd September – The Piatti Quartet with Sacha Rattle ( Clarinet) – An evening of sublime chamber music including Brahms’ Clarinet Quintet and string quartets by Dvorak and Schubert.
Saturday 23rd September – ” It’s Trad, Dad!” This concert celebrates the music of teh 50’s and early 60’s, recreating the sounds of Chris Barber, Kenny Ball, Acker Bilk and more.
Friday 29th September – Ex Cathedra One of Britain’s leading vocal groups will present a programme of gorgeous vocal music from the Renaissance to the present day .
Saturday 30th September – Craig Ogden (guitar) and Milos Milivojevic (accordian ) showcasing stunning arrangements of classical compositions by composers including Vivaldi, Scarlatti, and Piazzolla.
